Cephalohematoma Symptoms. Hemorrhages Or Skull LumpsSymptoms of a cephalohematoma or caput succedaneum hemorrhage may not be visibly present, or may include a skull lump or abnormal bulges on the head which should be seen by a doctor right away.
Symptoms Due To Complications Of The HemorrhageSymptoms may also be caused by complications of the cephalohematoma or caput succedaneum such as an underlying infection, jaundice or anemia to name a few.
If an infection, jaundice or anemia is suspected bring the infant to the doctor right away as they are indications that something more serious is wrong. An untreated infection for instance is deadly and jaundice could indicate liver or other problems.
